Juan Gallegos spoke at a press conference on November 24, 2014 in Lincoln on the President's administrative relief for some immigrants.
Juan's family left Mexico and moved to Nebraska when he was 12, after his family was threatened by local drug cartels. Since his parents' children are not U.S. citizens or have permanent legal status, they are not eligible for the President's Administrative Relief. Juan is worried his parents may be arrested or deported.
Congress taking action to update our immigration laws is the only solution to ensure Juan's family can remain together in the U.S.
